The ITU's 10 year anniversary certificate went to The National Telecommunication Institute.

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) was honored by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for supporting and participating in the communications development sector activities during the last 10 years. The BDT Director Delivered the 10 year anniversary certificate to prof. Ahmed El Sherbini the deputy to the Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology and the National Telecommunication Institute Director.

The Ceremony took place at Geneva, Switzerland on 25th of February 2010 honoring 24 international organizations related to the communications and the information technology sectors representing 17 countries for their cooperating with the International Telecommunication Union during the last 10 years. These countries are: Egypt - Japan - India - Denmark - United Kingdom - Lebanon - Iran - Morocco - Botswana - Australia - United States - Paraguay - Colombia - Chad - Switzerland - Bahamas and Bulgaria.

Prof. Ahmed El Sherbini noted that it is a great pleasure for the National Telecommunication Institute to represent Egypt at this event and for the appreciation of the International Telecommunication union for the efforts of the National Telecommunication Institute during the last years.
