A workshop on "Voice over IPv6" was organized on the period from 20th to 22th October, 2009 cooperatively between the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The workshop was held at the NTI headquarters in the Smart Village.
The workshop was an interactive learning experience for over 11 participants, including representatives from 4 countries. 4 participants from Egypt, 5 participants from Jordon, 1 participant from Saudi Arabia, and 1 from Sudan.
Workshop day one was for the official opening Ceremony and the welcoming speeches by the ITU ARO representative and the NTI representative, followed by two sessions; the first session's speaker was "Eng. Hisham IBRAHIM", and the second was "Mr.Bharat VAGADIA".
Day two was represented in four sessions; the first session's speaker was "Eng. Hisham IBRAHIM", the second was "Mr.Bharat VAGADIA", the third was "Dr. Amani SABRI" and the last sessions was for a practical application about the NTI IPv4/IPv6 Migration.
Day three was represented in two sessions; the first session's speaker was "Dr. Nezar SAMI", followed by a Practical application (lab) and then a Panel Discussion and the Closing Ceremony.
