The National Telecommunication Institute participated in the Coordination and Follow up Meeting for the Project "Translation and Arabization of ICT Terminology" Damascus-Syria.
Prof. Hoda Boghdady, Associate Professor, NTI, represented the National Telecommunication Institute in this meeting according to an invitation by the International Telecommunication Union Arab Regional Office. The meeting was organized by the Syrian Computer Society during the period from 22nd to 23rd of July 2009 – Syria and hosted by Syrian Telecommunication Establishment.
Experts from five Arab countries participated in this meeting these countries are: Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt, in addition to the participating of experts from the National Telecommunication Union (ITU), The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
