Dr. Kamel Witnesses Cooperation Agreement Signing between NTI, Banha Company for Electronic Industries.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel and Minister of State for Military Production Dr. Sayed Meshal witnessed today the signing of a cooperation agreement between National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Banha Company for Electronic Industries.

The agreement was signed by ITI Director and Deputy Minister of Communications and ITI Dr. Ahmed El-Sherbini and Chairman of Banha Company for Electronic Industries Dr. Abdel-Fatah El-Sahly.

Based on the three-year agreement, each of the two parties will benefit from the facilities of the other in carrying out scientific research in electronics. The research will then be turned into industries applicable for mass production.

The renewable agreement stipulates that NTI will engage in studying and approving Banha company's new electronic products and designs and enlist them in industry list.

Banha Company will utilize its production lines and testing and quality assurance labs in training students and in preparing the measurements required for research and scientific studies.

The facilities of NTI, like labs and halls, will be used as in offering trainings in the of information and communications technology and network services domains.

In addition, NTI will cooperate with Banha Company to establish a wireless communication lab at the company to serve students and manufacture printed circuits for the private and public sectors.

Moreover, NTI will receive researchers from Banha Company and train and introduce them to the latest methods and international production lines to develop their skills.

Established in 1984, NTI is considered a center of excellence, a leading training and educational institution and focal point for applied research activities in the field of telecommunications.

NTI facilitates a scientific database of local and international research studies for professors, researchers and scientists specialized in ICT.

Banha has a deep industrial expertise, production lines for assembling systems and assembling state-of-the-art technological devices, computers and networks. It offers integrated solutions for control and digital communication systems as part of a major strategy for several sectors in the State.
