The CoE/ARB 2nd Advisory Committee Meeting took place, at the National Telecommunications Institute of Egypt, in its premises in the Smart Village - Egypt, during the period from 1st to 2nd of March 2009.
The meeting emphasized the role of the Private Sector/Potential Partners in the ITU/BDT Capacity Building initiatives and in particular the CoE/ARB.
This is the annual meeting of the decision making body for the CoE/ARB. The meeting focused on these topics:
- Assessment of the activities of the Center during 2008.
- Approval of the Operational Plan for 2009.
- CoE Nodes and strategic choices for its work.
- Selection of the Permanent Advisory Committee Members for the CoE.
The first day of the meeting was opened to all the participants to take part, while the second day was exclusively for the Advisory Committee Members only.
