NTI hosted the "Roadmap for Broadband in Egypt: Developing the National Research Plan" workshop cooperatively with the ICT Council in the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology at the NTI Premises in the Smart village on Sunday 8th of May 2011.
The workshop introduced a proposal for the National Research Plan that empowers the growth of Broadband in Egypt. It also discusses the challenges that may face this growth in Egypt. The current status of the backbone networks and the recommended technologies were also discussed.
