5G Opportunities and Challenges Workshop
The workshop will provide space for a debate on this key enabling technology to analyse the opportunities and challenges associated with the deployment and standardisation of 5G in Egypt.
5G deployment will arise opportunities, technical and socio-economic challenges. We have to cooperate to get a harmonised and standardised policy. 5G is going to become a disrupter or a game changer? 5G will have value added for users, industries, operators and other stakeholders.
The NTI is honoured to invite you to participate in the entitled workshop. The workshop seeks contributions on how to implement 5G technologies and applications for the benefit of Egyptian society. This workshop aims to bring experts from industry, academia and research to exchange their vision as well as their achieved advances towards 5G, and encourage innovative cross-domain studies, research, early deployment and large-scale pilot showcases that address the challenges of 5G deployment in Egypt.
The workshop will have five technical sessions. This will be followed by a panel discussion:
The content of these technical session are (but not limited to) as follows:
- 5G Key Requirements and Forecasted network.
- 5G services of concern in Egypt and readiness for 5G challenges.
- Identify the key findings of (Vendors and Operators) 5G trails and showcases.
- The Role of ITU in 5G.
