  • Optical Transmission Networks Engineer
  • Build fiber optic networks. Installers must be skilled in the process of pulling cables, splicing and terminating, then testing them. It requires more manual dexterity than the other jobs, plus a basic understanding of how the systems work. In addition, installers work with specialized equipment like fusion splicers, OLTSs and OTDRs that require extensive knowledge of their operation and an understanding of how to interpret test results.

Track 2: Unified Communications Networks, Security, and Platforms.

Objectives

This track aims to qualify the fresh graduates to meet the market needs in unified communications, networking, and security. The track allows you to understand how to implement, operate, and maintain a secure unified communications platform. It starts from the fundamentals of data communications (CCNA Routing and Switching). Following that, it presents security basics (CCNA Security). Unified Communications networks are explained in details alongside practical integration and configuration (CCNA Collaboration). Finally, securing Cisco Unified Communications platform is presented thoroughly.

By the end of this track, trainees will be able to work on different systems with solid background and their skills will be more marketable. Accordingly, trainees will be qualified to fit job roles in telecommunications companies as a specialist and administrator in the field of networking and security.

Track 4: Cloud Computing.

Objectives

This track enables cloud administrators to monitor and protect the cloud infrastructure. It also enables trainees to design cloud architectures and extend existing cloud solutions. With Windows Server and System Center, trainees will build a Microsoft private cloud solution to optimise IT service delivery and gain the automation and flexibility they need for the IT infrastructure at any time.

The embedded course covers in details several concepts of embedded system such as 8-bit and 32-bit Micro-controllers architecture and programing operating system fundamentals, Real time operating systems, Hardware and software design architecture, system control design and relevant concepts. There are an applied projects using state of the art embedded system hardware and software. It is an industry oriented course.

Main objectives of the track is to:

    • Develop an understanding of technologies behind the embedded systems.
    • Become experienced with a real time operating system.
    • Design System on Chip (SoC).
    • Design, implement, and distribute stand-alone applications using LabVIEW.
