Training and qualifying Egyptian universities’ students in the pre-graduation stage is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in order to build capabilities in the aspects of modern technological applications of high value and specialization, and to develop the knowledge and skills of university students to be pioneers in the latest fields of communications and information technologies early on.This has crystallized in the Summer Training initiative for students of the first, second, and third years of the current academic year from the faculties of engineering (departments of systems, computers, communications, and electronics), Computers , Information, and Artificial Intelligence. The initiative is carried out in cooperation between the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) to implement a 4-weeks summer training program with 120 training hours, including 30 hours of labor market skills (Soft Skills) and 90 hours of technical technologies qualified for international certificates. The initiative is a free scholarship offered to outstanding Egyptian undergrad students that will be selected according to program conditions for different fields, including Networks, Security, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, 5G, Data Analysis, Big Data, Digital Design using FPGA, and IoT applications.
